Plot

In a generation from now, women are no longer able to fall pregnant. The reason behind this is a mystery, and anarchy has taken over as the population have lost their hope and will to survive. Following the death of the youngest person on the planet, an eighteen year old boy, Theodore Faron (Clive Owen), a former activist, will receive a request from his former lover Julian Taylor (Julianne Moore), who is still an activist, that may just return some hope to the population, but will Theo be able to accomplish his mission when he is faced with resistance every step of the way, and constantly running for his life?
