Austin Robert Butler was born in Anaheim, California, to aesthetician Lori Anne (Howell) and David Butler. He has always enjoyed watching movies of all genres. When he was 13, he was walking around the Orange County Fair when he was approached by a representative from a background-acting management company, who assisted him in getting started in the entertainment industry.
