Disney has announced that Johnny Depp will star in three forthcoming movies to be released by the studio.

Besides starring in the latest addition to the so popular Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and in Tim Burton’s adaptation of Alice In Wonderland – Johnny Depp will also take the role of sidekick Tonto in the forthcoming big screen version of the Lone Ranger.
